Lussekatter

10g gurkemeie (2g safran)
0.5l melk
50g gjær
200g smør/margarin
1 egg
½ ts salt
3 dl sukker
2l hvetemel

225-250 grader, 7-15 min


Lussibuns

10 grams tumeric
0.5 litre milk
50 grams yeast
200 grams butter
1 egg
1/2 teaspoon salt
0.3 litre sugar
2 litres plain flour

Bake for 7-12 minutes, 225-250 degrees celcius

Buns traditionally made to celebrate St. Lucia on December 13. For some unknown reason this Italian Catholic saint is widely celebrated in protestant Scandinavia...
